Back in October of 2014, I started writing my first sci-fi novella. I had grand hopes to write the book in three months, edit it in a week, and publish it around Christmas 2014. Almost a year later, I’m finally publishing that novella that ended up becoming a full-length novel!
Despite how long it took me to finish the book, Thy Kingdom Come is a novel I’m quite proud of. I know, I know. All authors say that about every book they write, but let me explain. As I wrote this book, I spent hours studying the fundamental elements of story and the dynamics of a page-turner. I wanted to create a story that was action-packed, fast-paced, and thrilling. At the same time, I didn’t want a shallow novel–my aim was to include memorable characters and deep themes that would resonate with readers. Did I accomplish that? I believe so, but ultimately, readers will be the judge.
But I need your help.
Readers won’t know this book exists if they’ve never heard of it! Word of mouth is one of the best ways for books to gain exposure. So naturally, the more people talk about this book, the more readers will add it to their book lists!
That’s why I need you to join the TKC Launch Team!
I need you to be part of the team and help spread the word online about Thy Kingdom Come during launch week (August 5th to 12th).
As a member of the TKCÂ Launch Team, you’ll receive the following:

Not sure if the TKC Launch Team is a good fit for you? Here are some questions you might have and my answers:
“Do I have to be a blogger or have a large social following to join the launch team?”
No! There are many ways to help get the word out. Maybe you’ll tell your family and friends about the book on Facebook or even create a group on Goodreads to discuss the book or its genre. Word of mouth is one of the best ways to help an idea spread.
“I’m not a marketing person. Is my input valuable?”
Absolutely! If you’re a fiction reader, you are exactly the person whose opinions I need to help me put Thy Kingdom Come in front of as many eyes as possible.
“I’m not on Facebook. Can I still join the TKC Launch Team?”
To keep everything streamlined we really need to run the launch team via a private FB group. It’s where the majority of people hang out, so it keeps everything easiest for the most members. But even if you don’t join the actual launch team, there will be other opportunities to help spread the word. Stay tuned to your inbox for more on that!
“What is the time commitment to join the TKC Launch Team?”
It depends on how long it takes you to read and write 🙂 It won’t be super time-consuming, but I expect members to put some time into reading the book, discussing promo ideas in the private group, and writing an honest review. The book will launch is from August 5th to 12th, which will be the most intense period of promotion. But it’s summer time and I’m fully aware that you have plans or prior commitments. Give what you feel you can.
