Last week, I provided indie authors with some resources and tips on designing book covers through the use of several different programs. For those of you who might have missed the post, it can be found here.

This week I’ve put together a video tutorial instructing new users in creating a scene in DAZ 3D. As I stated in my previous post, DAZ can have a steep learning curve and my hope is to lessen that by providing a basic walkthrough of the program. Completed scenes in DAZ 3D can be used as book covers and I think with practice and patience, indie authors can really make some wonderful pieces of art to complement their writing.

The video is just over 27 minutes long and I’ve provided some links below the video to websites where you can download free 3D content for DAZ and other programs.

Please feel free to comment on the video. I’d love to get any suggestions for future tutorials you’d like to see in DAZ 3D. Enjoy!
